A traves de educared, podeis acceder a un curso de Inglés ( y de Francés, Catalan, Galego....) gratuito que llega hasta el nivel C1. Tan sólo teneis que registraros en su página y realizar un "pequeño" test de nivel de 45 minutos para saber vuestro nivel real. Una vez realizado el test, os dirá vuestro nivel según la escala del Marco Común Europeo de Referencia de las Lenguas ( vamos, que si teneis un A1, A2, B1, B2, etc.) y os dará un enlace para copiar vuestros resultados en un curriculum. Despues ya podreis entrar en el curso propiamente dicho y completarlo a vuestro ritmo. Durante los días 9, 10 y 11 de Marzo se han celebrado en Logroño (La Rioja) las 1ª Jornadas de SSBB y han elegido para hablar sobre la organización de centro .... !!AL IES ALONSO DE OROZCO!! Si, Como lo leéis, hemos tenido el orgullo y el honor de ser elegidos para que les hablemos sobre Oropesa y sus SSBB. Por supuesto que accedimos encantados a dar a conocer una vez más ( y van....) el trabajo que , entre todos, profesores, alumnos, equipo directivo, estamos realizando en Oropesa. Esta vez le tocó el turno a Jorge Benayas, para hablar sobre cómo se plantea su asignatura (música) y las actividades que realiza con los alumnos dentro del bilingüismo, y a Ángel, que para variar, le añadió un "toque de humor" a su presentación y la amplió con un par de "ejercicios" de Jefatura y un nuevo sistema matemático. Permitirme que os hable sobre lo ocurrido en Octubre, en las Jornadas Nacionales de Secciones bilingües de Santander, que ante los premios que habían ganado otras SSBB por el estupendo trabajo realizado, empecé la presentación de Mª Jesús y mía diciendo: "Nosotros no hemos ganado ningún premio, nuestro premio es sencillamente el poder estar aquí" Y es verdad, no hay mayor premio que el reconocimiento de los demás por un trabajo bien hecho y realmente me siento orgulloso de pertenecer a un centro cuyo esfuerzo y trabajo se ve reconpensado, no con grandes premios, sino sencillamente con el reconocimiento de otros compañeros que nos dicen "ENHORABUENA" "¡QUE ENVIDIA! "¡SEGUID ASÍ!!". Me hubiese gustado que estuvieseis todos en Logroño ( profesores y alumnos) para que hubieseis compartido no solo los aplausos, sino también las caras de envidia ante lo que entre todos estamos consiguiendo.

Durante los dias 23 y 24 de Febrero se han celebrado en Torrijos las Jornadas provinciales De Secciones Bilingües, con el lema de "Buenas prácticas y experiencias de centros". Por parte del IES Alonso de Orozco han asistido Almudena, como asesora lingüistica de la SSBB de Inglés y Angel como representante del equipo directivo. Como ya viene siendo habitual, la presentación correspondio a Angel, que habló los trabajos previos del equipo directivo y especialmente de Juan, nuestro jefe de estudios, para poder organizar el lio de optativas y desdobles que conlleva una sección bilingüe, ¡ y no digamos 2 Secciones bilíngües !!. Tambien se habló de los distintos recursos TIC que emplea el Departamento de Inglés, o mas concretamente el grupo "Teachersoro". Como siempre, aquí teneis una "copia" de la presentación. EN LOS ESTADOS UNIDOS DE AMÉRICA PARA JÓVENES ENTRE 16 Y 18 AÑOS
La Embajada de los Estados Unidos en España nominará a un estudiante para participar en el Instituto de Verano Benjamin Franklin 2010, programa financiado por el Departamento de Estado de los Estados Unidos para promover las relaciones entre las jóvenes generaciones de europeos, asiáticos y norteamericanos. Se adjunta el formulario que deberán cumplimentar los candidatos interesados.
Los objetivos del programa son los siguientes:
o Desarrollar un compromiso con la cooperación transatlántica
o Fomentar las relaciones entre jóvenes europeos, asiáticos y norteamericanos, de diferentes etnias, religiones y naciones.
o Promover el entendimiento mutuo entre Europa, Asia y los Estados Unidos
o Crear un grupo de jóvenes líderes que compartan conocimientos y habilidades con sus homólogos a través de la acción positiva.

El 9 de febrero será el Día Internacional de la Internet Segura está organizado por Insafe, la Red Europea por una Internet Segura y se celebra todos los meses de febrero, siendo la de 2010 su séptima edición. El lema de este año es “piensa antes de colgarlo”, y pretende concienciar a los usuarios de la red, principalmente adolescentes, de que lo que se cuelga en Internet luego es imposible borrarlo. Nunca se sabe si antes de borrar un archivo que se ha subido, habrá alguien que lo haya copiado. O si, aunque nadie lo haya copiado, será posible borrarlo definitivamente. Adicciones Digitales se suma a esta celebración, y para luchar contra estas situaciones, ofrece un catálogo de consejos y recomendaciones en su web (www.adiccionesdigitales.es) que van dirigidas tanto a los adolescentes como a los adultos. Según Juan Romero, Portavoz de esta organización, “pretendemos evitar que lo que hoy se cuelga en Internet pueda jugarnos una mala pasada dentro de unas semanas, unos meses o unos años, en el momento más inoportuno”. También ofrece un recorrido por esta problemática, para evitar problemas mayores, en su último libro, publicado en Internet, y que está dirigido tanto a padres como a adolescentes.
